Andruco Lagoon is owned and enjoyed by three generations who use this site to reconnect to nature. It has been part of MDWWG rehabilitation efforts since 2009 and was last watered in 2020-21.

Our vision with the landholder is to maintain the river red gum communities and provide valuable habitat to fauna such as the endangered regent parrot, black swan and Australasian grebe breeding habitat.

Providing off-river habitat; Increasing the availability of habitat for fauna (including frogs, waterbirds, and terrestrial birds.

Improving the health of river red gum and other riparian vegetation.

Habitat for waterbirds and small bodied native fish.

Potential habitat for endangered woodland bird species (regent parrot).
